May as well go all out attack and try to rattle them early doors. My team is as per the OP. Start Brown and if he shot after 45mins then swap him. We’ve got five subs, may as well use them. Id rather lose 4-2 than 2-0. I’ll forgive any result as long as we give it a good go. In truth our defence is reasonably good. We need to at least run to find an effective route to attack. If Windass or Kachunga get serious game time between now and May we go down. You simply cannot have a significant part of your matches playing non-scoring strikers. Second, he must play Reach and Harris, on their obvious wings. Their confidence is brittle- don't let them get a foothold in the game. Let's have a go in the first 15 minutes when the game is there to be taken by the scruff of the neck. Agree mostly with this ! In Jansson and Pinnock were not going to win much in the air... might be worth having someone with legs along side Rhodes our only recognised striker. Big Championship defenders love nothing more than balls straight at them for them to head out all day long. Where they struggle a bit is with balls from the flank where the striker is moving. It’s not a guaranteed route to success but Rhodes and Paterson both have enough positional sense to at least give them something to think about. The hardest bit is going to be getting the ball to our side players. The second you press our midfield they just panic and pass it backwards.
