They do their best work at the other end of the pitch and that's where they should concentrate their energy.
Southie_Owl
My Brighton in-laws laughed at me when we signed Brown, their exact words “he’s alright when he actually plays and isn’t on the floor or having a joke with the opposition”. I thought his time at Luton meant he had improved but sadly it seems they may have been correct with their assessment

It frustrates the hell out of me We're about 4 years too late for having the players for wing backs. You know who'd have been perfect for the wing back system we're trying to play Jack Hunt & Daniel Pudil smh 1
trask43
Seems strange that hes had so little game time him, bannan and luongo looked like they would form a good midfield three at start of the season. Think the injury cost him really and since monk left we've given up all hope of keeping the ball on the deck so he doesnt really fit in, hes not really the type of player whos gonna impress in the odd five minute cameo.

Well it's worth a try, it seems playing players with work rate like Harris, Reach, Paterson and Kachunga etc. isn't working now. So we could play more creative etc. players like Brown/Green, play with a proper ST and try to score more goals/win.
gurujuan
I see Brown played 45 mins against Barnsley, in the U23s win

Toon Owl
My concern is how much is he costing us to not play him? As per previous posters, a far too high percentage of our loan signings for years have been epic fails.
Derick Mills
Thing is when he does come on for the last 5 mins of the games they throw him on as a striker as were always chasing the game, let him start ffs and in midfield where we know he can play
bigash_swfc
You have to blame Chansiri. While smaller clubs make every penny count and sign loanees that improve a starting 11. We've signed a player who plays in the same position as our club captain and won't get a look in.

A 15th Dec. 3 mins - Blackburn A 26th Dec. 19 mins - Middlesbrough H 29th Dec. 8 mins - Coventry A 27th Jan. Just to add from my memory: Cardiff (W), Watford (D), Bristol City (L) Wycombe (L), Bournemouth (W), Millwall (D), Preston (L), Stoke (D), Norwich (D?) Huddersfield (L), Barnsley (L), Forest (L), Blackburn (W?) Middlesbrough (W), Coventry (D?) So the only two 90 minute appearances he got he made 1 assist with Windass's goal at Cardiff. The only wins he came off the bench for was against Bournemouth and Middlesbrough also maybe Blackburn I think? 14 minutes ago, Gob_Bluth said: I agree, we've got plenty of cover in various positions using the 433. Like you say, Penny/Reach at LW, Green/Harris/Kachunga RW, Windass could step in for Brown, Hunt/Pelupessy/Shaw/Luongo for Hutch/Bannan Marriot/Paterson for Rhodes I think it's more flexible for the players we've got than sticking stubbornly to 352 Yeah I never thought about it recently. Paterson and Shaw could play CAM too, Windass ST and Odubajo RW/RM also don't forget FDB in midfield too.

Etchesketch
Amazing really that he has hasn't started since the third game of the season. This with fixtures coming left right and centre and quite a bit of rotation going on.
WalthamOwl
So disappointing. Really had high hopes when he signed but seems just another injury prone player that isn’t up to the job. Not seen him on the pitch for a while but does he look like he’s carrying a bit of extra timber as well?
