Thompson has had a terrible week

Forget whether he’s got the manager title or not, these are avoidable decisions regardless of that

Those issues don’t stop you being able to make the right subs

But I blame the players too

We have this debate about every manager. Whether they started the right players, made the right decisions and subs.

Difference with Thompson is he’s doing a job he didn’t want in the first place.

I’m not going to blame him for anything. I actually feel quite sorry for him.

I would agree if he asked for the job and is employed as manager.

He’s not asked for the job. It’s been thrusted on him at one of the most precarious points in our history.

No blame for me.

Who chose to play Windass?

Who chose to play Bannan wide right?

Whose tactical game plan is just to good the ball for 90 mins and play for long throws?

I could go on but we are a limited squad and the only real game we’ve put lots of pressure on an opponent’s defence was Wycombe the other week when we got the ball wide and crossed lots of balls into the area. Why on earth are we deviating from that?

Our best effort today was when we followed those tactics

Honestly I know where you’re coming from. But irrelevant to me.

He’s interim manager with no experience doing a job he didn’t ask for in a relegation battle which is hard for even the most experienced managers.

Won’t be Thompson’s fault if we go down. Far from it

Sally, if he didn’t want to do it, he wouldn’t be doing it.

We can’t blame absolutely everything on external factors.

Hes qualified to coach a football team, he’s qualified enough to make the right decisions

And he hasn’t this week

It’s almost as if a first team manager with no inexperience of being a first team manager is making mistakes.

He’s not asked for the gig.

Thompson not to blame.

He's not to blame that he's in the position, but his decisions have cost us this week.

I agree we shouldn't be left with a management team of Thompson', Bullen, Haslam and Weaver though.

This is pretty much all that needs to be said

Anything else is really slating the flake when the whole 99 ice cream is a steaming pile of hot dog turd

Lost 6 huge points, both winnable and both clubs hadn’t won in a while before playing us.

Stoke was always going to be a hard game, they are a good side (thrashed Luton today) just had drawn a hell of s lot of games.

BUT Birmingham were absolutely there for the taking today 100% believe if we had adopted same approach / the selection as Wycombe game we'd be 3 points better off Tonight and out of relegation zone

Awful substitutions midweek- completely blew our chances

Poor starting 11 today- why mess with the formation now? Rhodes should have played today over midweek.

Should have been in Shaw's ear at half time to make sure he didnt repeat wajt he did earlier in the season. Looking at that tackle, he clearly didnt make the point. Poor management.

Absolutely shocking, and has shown why he's not the man for the task.

You are pointing the finger of blame at the wrong person. Here are the culprits

He can’t be blamed for shaw being sent off.

However, we never looked like winning it beforehand anyway.

Some people have already voted rhodes as man of the match on the other thread. Speaks volumes... On the pitch for about 10 mins and would have scored if it wasn’t for a good save by their keeper.

We were getting a good few balls in the box first half yet we don’t have a player in there who thrives off that.

Very bizzare decision from Neil Thompson.

A lot of people wanted him in too, I didn't even want him as a stand in personally but the players ( I know believe) did grind out wins

Eh? Who else would do it?

It’s up to him and Bullen. He’s stepping up and trying his best.

No blame at all
