I’m not saying they have no right to be disappointed, I am.

I just think it was obvious he was gambling.
Did you raise your concerns on here or refuse to go to Wembley because of the irresponsible way the club was being run?

I raised them with a number of friends in 2016 yes, would you like me to get them to record statements?

I didn’t refuse to go to Wembley, I got a free ticket

Right. This chairman’s gambling with the club’s future. Do I:

a) raise my concerns on the fans forum and refuse to be part of the madness

b) go to Wembley for a jolly and hope we get promoted to avoid oblivion

c)go along for the ride and cry when the millk turns sour

You tell em mate

You're 100% definitely right

We'll convince them eventually once they see the light that it's the fans fault

We just need to point out the chairmans' successes to them and then they'll look VERY silly won't they!!

Can't believe they're crying over the milk that keeps getting spilt every week over  the last 6 years

Mad isnt it!

But you're right - ti's definitely the fans fault

Let's keep telling them and then eventually they'll agree with us two!

It wasn’t inevitable though at the point you’re talking about in 2016. We had the better chance the year after in 2017 and didn’t take it.

Even at that point it still wasn’t set in stone. We could have shuffled the pack, sold some players, bought some different ones, appointed different managers.

There was enough money flowing around until 2019 in my opinion to give us a chance. We wasted it by having Jos in charge when a better manager would have had us top 6 again in 2018/19.

Its only the last 18 months where it’s got somewhat irretrievable. And even then it could be retrieved by him selling to someone else to have a go.

You could run this at a profit in league 1.. even though fans are really peed off we’ll still get 15,000 for home games because we always do and that would cover the cost of all the wages and other costs.

we averaged 23 k  in the 3rd  seasons 2003 to 05 and lost 7 million quid  so not sure how you come to that conclusion .......pompey,ipswich,sunderland  would average over 15k and i doubt they run at a profit why would you think  we would ?

Remember that man you asked for a light on the street in 1978?
The one who you walked up to and said "Have you got a light mate?"
the one who lit your cigarette for you?

The one who you said it was the right thing to do when he got sent down for arson for burning down people's houses and buildings?

YOU WERENT SLATING HIM BACK WHEN HE LIT YOUR CIGARETTE WERE YOU??

DIDN'T HEAR YOU SAY HOW BAD HE WAS WHEN HE LIT YOUR CIGARETTE

I’m critical of the fans who criticise someone for having a right go and failing at great personal expense.

I’m happy to listen to your ideas for a new chairman or change of tact.

How do you propose the chairman improve the club and close the gap on the relegated Prem clubs and their parachute payments?

We definitely didn’t lose 7 million a year at league 1 level during that period. When we dropped out the PL our debt was around £20m and then it crept towards £30m a decade later before we were saved by Milan. That doesn’t sound like losing 7 million a year to me. Milan even said we were losing about £6m a year at Championship level during 2012-15, which is less.

Most league 1 clubs lose a few million a year subsidised by their owners. So it’s easy to see we could break even or make a small profit if we ran the budget of a Rochdale with our gate receipts.

It wouldn’t be pretty and probably wouldn’t see us even compete for promotion, but it’s possible

EXACTLY!!

You get em told Sweet Pea

It's imperative that we have more love for people who have great personal expense

That's the key bit that they just don't get

It's been at great personal expense

When will they see what we can see that it's been at great personal expense??

They're going to look very very silly when they realise it's been at great personal expense and they realise like we do that it's all the fans fault

There aren’t any posts are there?

You know as well as I do that football

is big business, right?

You know we can’t bring our own players through because there are

much better academies within an hour of SW6?

So how does the chairman, old or new do it?

Do we wait 100 years for a Chris Wilder to unearth gems or throw money at it?

Please let me know how it’s done because swfc has a right to be dining at the top table.
