I despair with some decisions made by referee's today.

What's even more frustrating is they are rarely held to task over them.

I think its gone beyond traditional refereeing now

Just one bloke in the middle of a crowded pitch of elite athletes trying to keep up with the pace and also having to spot everything that happens and make instant judgements seems such an outdated and ridiculous concept now

Yet the alternative is VAR which is about as much use as Track and Trace lol

Actually VAR shows just how bad some officials are IMO in that some of the decisions made are still poor even with the benefit of replays. Blades had a stonewall penalty ignored yesterday for example. As for handball some of the decisions are ridiculous.

got the ball clearly but left some on the player also, in that area of the pitch there was no need to even tackle him

Hate to draw comparisons with the Blunts, but that's similar to what happened in their game against Fulham., albeit there's was in the 6 yard box.

Fulham Keeper got the ball left some on Bogle - pundits saying it was a pen - referee & VAR saying it wasn't even a foul...

If we had VAR in the Championship, would it have over-ruled Shaw's 2nd booking ?

Really gutted this lads leaving. Such a good footballer.

Had a great first 15 but then was nearly anonymous

Also needs to be a number 8...he’s poor in his decision making when close to our box

As was most of our players. He’s the only positive at the club at the minute which unfortunately we are losing

Best player again. Especially 1st half when he was driving at them and winning free kicks

goals win you points, not free kicks

His cross which caused the confusion for the equaliser

Only one who looked to get the ball down and pass it. Always looking forward. Good engine on him.

And people think he’ll struggle to get in the Celtic team? They’ve had our pants down.

had a decent game - looks a good player in the making, but sadly not with us.

He spots a good pass and has strength and composure. Unfortunately, he has little to work with - decent forwards would thrive of him.
