Bet365 stops taking bets on Carlos returning in the summer

Recommended Posts

OK before you have a go at me for this, I'm just posting it as a starting point. It looks like the figures are inflated which I suspect is because they include all possible extra clauses which will not have been paid in most cases. The website doesn't go into recent transfers so I've just shown what I think we paid, I'm very likely wrong.

Feel free to correct any amounts to more accurate figures. I'd change Rhodes to £8m and Van Aken to £2m Matias looks high at £3m.

That's transfer values (And the current season valuations are on DRUGS bro)

The expense of a squad is wages inclusive

Feel free to put your own valuations forward. The question came up which was more expensive, I've tried to answer it. I not taking a side, just giving a starting position to see who's right. You were adamant you were, can you justify it?

I've never seen a valuation done on a wages inclusive basis because wages are generally confidential between the player and the club. Do you include bonus payments for clean sheets, goals etc.?

What players get and what fans think they do are often wildly different.

YES of course!

I'm not arguing with anyone I'm just suggesting that the overall expense of the squad (transfer fees, wages, bonuses etc) is drastically (DRASTICALLY) lower now than it was in 2015

I stand by that statement 100%

Because it is

I bought this coffee pod machine thing

It's ok - it does it's job

It comes with a 'milk frother' machine

I never use that - I find it too extravagant for my needs

lol

You and I both know the frother doesn't get used because it's too much like hard work!

It's always been Carlos' dream to manage in L1 😀

Carlos of his first season, yes. Carlos thereafter no thanks. Be nice to see how his new hair is bedding in though and hope he brings that £20 note with him, because thats his transfer budget.

The season we finished 4th you wouldn’t take that? Bizarre.

Still - the title has not been addressed - Bet365 doesn't have a next SWFC manager market

Excellent point , well made , General.

I fear it's a point you may have to make repeatedly though.
