It looks like the figures are inflated which I suspect is because they include all possible extra clauses which will not have been paid in most cases. The website doesn't go into recent transfers so I've just shown what I think we paid, I'm very likely wrong. Feel free to correct any amounts to more accurate figures. The question came up which was more expensive, I've tried to answer it. I not taking a side, just giving a starting position to see who's right. You were adamant you were, can you justify it? I've never seen a valuation done on a wages inclusive basis because wages are generally confidential between the player and the club. Do you include bonus payments for clean sheets, goals etc.?
