I am disappointed we have lost Shaw, we should have had him tied down to another year last summer after he had broke into the team and nobody knew much about him. But imagine he was tied down to an extra year and Celtic still came in for him? They are said to be having to pay around £300,000 for him in the summer. Had he still been under contract, how much do you think it would have cost them to get him out of it? It can't just be coincidence that Pulis turned to Celtic's head of scouting as the best man to work as his assistant at Hillsborough, then within weeks, Celtic have made an offer for our out of contract young midfielder and the guy who hasn't worked as an assistant manager anywhere is shown the door after about a month in the job can it?
