It would be interesting to know, there's probably a bit of truth in it, guess it's like the "he was bound to score against his old club" thing (like last night sadly) we just don't remember the hundreds of times these things don't happen.

It’s like Bournemouth. They were on a bad run and we beat them. You notice it when you end someone’s bad run but not when you don’t.

Would guess a lot of clubs fans will think they are ones to end bad runs.  Most game days one club or another ends their bad run and team they beat will think "why's it always us"

I don't think we could have hoped for any better results than those tonight.  Ok QPR won, but they're probably better than most of the other teams in the bottom half.   If Toytown end up losing that's 4 out of 5 results that went exactly how we would have wished.  As people have already said, it's now up to Wednesday to do the business on the field on Saturday and get the 3 points against Birmingham.  After that, we need to keep our foot on the gas and whilst we're not going to win every game, perhaps one win in two may be enough.  Time, as ever, will tell.

The St Andrews duo keep giving us more chances to get clear. Have to finally do it now. Win Saturday and I think we stay up, it's such a massive game.

By Saturday close-of-business, we should be 20th and poised to pass the Udders in the next round. Last we should see if the relegation zone this season. We are a mid-table side on ability with a 6 point deduction for faulty front office management.

Yes, hopefully that will end up being a quiz question in years to come. When did three clubs get relegated but the league only lost 2 grounds?
