S72 Owl 2,094
As well as Barnsley have done this season and as bad as we’ve been they’ve only gained 5 more points than us. But they do at least have a plan in place as a club which is sustainable and something all there fans can get behind. Until they sell there next player then all there fans will be crying again. 6

Take away our points deduction and you have the answer that they're not really - not that much Relax One day we'll have a different chairman and then we can be as big/good as Barnsley / Leeds United / Sheffield United again x *runs off* 2 7 Owlstalk Shop
Tollertonowl 271
I can see a lot of teams in the Championship who think that they might be safe, but by the end are sucked into a relegation battle...

Beighton Owl 87 1,435
Only 5 points better off then us without the points deduction and were poo at the minute.

Dot 2,559
for a bit of context, Barnsley were relegated last season on the pitch and only stayed up due to Wigan points deduction. Since we got rid of pulis, barnsley have gained 11 points, we have gained 15

Kopparberg 8,026
I think they sign managers/players that actually suit their plans...
Pablo Bonvin 8,479
They’re higher up the league than us at the moment, having had better results than us so far this season. They weren’t “better” for the last few seasons and may not be better next season if they revert to type and sell off their best players over the summer.

I'd expect this statement if they were unbeaten and first in the table, but not for a mediocre (mid table) side (halfway into the season) that has had 1 good result... TrickyTrev 14,125
Clear direction coming from the boardroom... something sadly lacking at Hillsborough.
malek 3,235
What little money they have they invest in well scouted lower league players who they play, support and look after. Even when they had to sell most of their starting 11, due to this kind of mentality they quickly got back up and rebuilt cleverly.
lanzaroteowl 6,061
They're not. We'll have won more points than them come the end of the season. 1
