Errol Flashman
Mebbe we should have bought that land instead of Van.Aken! 5 Just a bloke. Being dragged along in a world that moves too quick for it's own good.
Animis
Always puzzled me how traffic will use the site on a match day - particularly Saturday which will be one of the retail park's main day, with SAG's parking and traffic flow restrictions. Will we amazingly see restrictions lifted for this, but not for SWFC fans?
S36 OWL
The Aldi will do well on matchdays with people buying summat to eat there instead of being ripped off in the stadium.

You'll just get loads of people being turned away from the turnstiles when they go to Aldi to grab a pre-match sandwich and come out with a new chainsaw

Orlando_Trustful
Still miss the old Wednesdayite car park. Some cracking buggery events held there back in the early 00’s.

@owlstalk
Look at the traffic flow - three entrances/exists and even a roundabout in the middle Now imagine people going shopping on a matchday and slowing down to turn into there Gonna be MAYHEM 1 Owlstalk Shop
Flat Owl
Could have been a run of pre and post match food and bar outlets set back from Penistone Road with frontage seating etc - all franchises of the club with parking behind... Never mind - we will be playing in Hillsborough Park in a couple of seasons.

Never mind - we will be playing in Hillsborough Park in a couple of seasons. we don't play often enough to justify it, unless they open at other times. If we moved grounds we'd look at retail partners to be part of the development/masterplan. This is like a mini version, but the pre-lets are a good sign and if true, it looks like they'll be starting building soon.
Weshallovercome
I know luck doesn't come into to DC's incompetence, but he's not having much since he took over. Can see this development causing lots of problems on match days
Bing Cosby
I swear that the whole planning department at Sheffield City Council must be permanently pis*ed. 3

adelphi1867
Why did the Sheffield council turn down our bid to sell the training ground, to be developed for retail, a decade or so ago?.

You must have realise by now our council never plan for anything, they are getting extra business rates they don't give a poo if it affect the local area, causes more pollution or affect people's lives and local businesses.
