@owlstalk Posted February 10, 2021 Author Share Posted February 10, 2021 There was an incident last night where something didn't go Dunkley's way on the edge of their box His head went down and he started moaning at the referee over and over Whilst he was doing that the game got back underway He still moaned Bannan saw what was happening and ran from the right side of the pitch, past Dunkley (who was still moaning) over to the left wing to win the ball back with a cracking tackle and some tenacious play Bannan leading by example and winning the ball whilst Dunkley stood moaning about something the referee was never going to change his mind on that had happened a couple of minutes before Moaning at referees gets you nowhere Bannan embarrassed Dunkley last night and showed him why we're in no position in this league to stand around moaning and whimpering at referees when we could be getting the ball back off the opponent and attacking them Ps this isn't an attack or whinge on Dunkley who has been excellent - he just needs to stop moaning and get straight back into the game when things happen Also I have to say that as a team we're good generally at not whingeing at referees and long may that continue no matter what some weirdos think about us needing to 5 2 Owlstalk Shop Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
