Firstly, fvvck off; secondly, I was talking generally; thirdly, I have stated that Hutch played in midfield tonight; and lastly, fvvck off, mouth.

No need to  get touchy, just pointing out a slight mishap on your behalf.

did he ?......i thought he was more middle of the back with license to get forward when we had the ball .

He played in midfield today or more specifically as the holding midfielder in front of the back three.

Really

How can anyone take this post seriously, when the poster doesn't even know what position the players are playing in.

Beyond belief.

I’m amazed hes played all the games so far. Fair play to him

Yep. Just hope we don’t push him one too far without a rest and it backfire now

He will no doubt want to play them all. Suppose that’s down to Thompson to manage!

Fantastic player. Never understood the people saying it was a bad move to bring him back.

4 games in 11 days too.

5 in 13 now I think! I mean who saw that coming on the back of 5 games in 12 months? And 6 weeks without a game or proper training!

Hope he doesn’t push it too much too soon though

First half he seemed to play more typically in that central defensive position.

Second half he seemed to drop even deeper to the point that he really did seem to be part of the back-line.

In fact, with being the last man on all our corners too, he got through a lot of his work tonight as pretty much a centre back.

Played quite well tonight, although I still prefer him in defence.

Was like watching the old Hutch at times tonight. His anticipation and reading of the game is still top notch

Spot on. It’s a pity he gets remembered for injuries and bookings. His injury record is largely a myth. His high profile bookings less so....but he has always been quality.

Hutchinson does that a lot, he will seamlessly transition from one position to another depending on the circumstances.

Essentially it is like he is covering 3 positions  whilst being on the pitch.

Not many players can do that.

What Monk was thinking in getting rid of him I will never know.
