panda800
Was going to say Everton but at least that didn't have massive barriers up but the one at the dell was shocking
matthefish2002
Going back 25 years they were a lot of dumps about. Yes the Dell was particularly bad but always have fond memories of that ground, dramatic wins and couple of really cracking pubs within 10 mins walk. Was in Southampton about 18 months ago and was stopping not far from where it was, was sad to see it was a bland block of apartments with no sign of the football ground apart from 'Channon Way' and 'Le Tissier Court' Of the modern day stadiums think Newcastle as you are too far from the pitch, feels watching a subbuteo game.
onlyonedavidhirst
I read this thinking you meant the poorest away following and it got me thinking back to the away matches we were banned at following Oldham for some reason. As for grounds Cambridge wasn’t good, yet that’s a place I always enjoyed going to. QPR upper tier needs a mention
mildatheart67
Going back to the 90s the away end at Palace was rubbish. Dishonourable mentions to Grimsby away, absolutely rammed ,near certain was over capacity. Oxford United ,clear enough view, terrible crush in the narrow alley way getting out Edited February 8, 2021 by mildatheart67

wakefieldowl
Bristol rovers, twerton park, by a mile. Could only see half the pitch because of barriers. Nots co used to be pretty awful too

Manwë
Swindon away. Seem to remember us losing 4-1 in a cup there, weeing down with rain in the uncovered end, Ola Tidman getting lobbed from 6 yards, and the home fans singing 'Rocky Robin is a pedo' or something Edited February 8, 2021 by Manwë
hasthagotanycheese
Sealand Road at Chester City. An away end genuinely made out of cinder ash and sleepers. Also Hull's old ground Boothferry Park was toilet.
Birstall Owl
Plough Lane Feb 1989, lost 1-0, pissed it down all game, miserable day.
Watto
Bumhole lane for obvious reasons Burton a few years ago wasn't good , absolutely rammed in there for that night game. Ipswich isn't great , stuck up in that stand in the corner , not a great view.
Drewswfc
Old plough lane was a reyt dump, crumbling concrete steps full of weeds. Worst seating I've sat in is Luton I think. Horrific leg room. Sat with the seat in front cutting into your knees for 90 minutes is not good. As mentioned above qpr is a șhït view

punkskaphil
A vote for QPR upper tier as well. This view was from a non-restricted view ticket. 1
Donny El
Stamford Bridge before the money. Miles away from the pitch. penned in. the steps were crumbling while watching the game and you sometimes had cars parked between you and the pitch Edited February 8, 2021 by Donny El
marconi
The old Ayersome Park was bad down the side of the pitch, crammed in like sardines.
Manwë
Honourable mention to our own away end, especially in the lower. Remember being forced to sit there for a home game because I had a broken arm (fizz knows). Just how is that stand still remaining as it is?
alan48
Brighton Goldstone ground . More grass on the terrace than the pitch . Aldershot not much better .
apswfcowl
Baseball Ground for me. Hardly saw any of our 3-3 draw there back in 1993.
