Until the EFL close the loop holes then these things can happen. I am pretty sure also that as long as teams can show what the losses from the pandemic are, they are allowed the losses for FFP for this season and last but as we have not bothered to file our financial information for the season before last we cannot use that excuse either. If it costs us a million to bring in a striker on loan and he scores the goals to keep us in the division we are actually £6m better off than getting relegated because we cannot score enough goals. But as well all know our chairman does not look at what will be the effect next season, from his action in this season, or we would not have released all of our strikers and replaced them with midfielders who cannot score.
