Sam Hutchinson re-signs - OFFICIAL

Recommended Posts

Passion, drive , desire.

Puts in a tackle.

Improves the squad, not doubt about that at all.

Vital experience in the dogfight we're in.

Though only Wednesday could have a player leave for nothing...only to sign them months later on a free.

Sums us up as a club really doesn't it.

Wonder if he got a new player signing on fee?

Oh well.

At least he won't need a bedding in period while he gets to know everybody!

Lets just hope he see's eye to eye with the new manager or it's going to be a bit of a waste of time isn't it.

Right...

Truth be told, we could do with his experience atm.

He's an upgrade on Joey P and it turns out Mass is even more injury prone.

Keep him fit and if he's focused, then he's a worthwhile addition.

Current situation, totally agree.

I think people are forgetting that we have no money, there's no income coming into the club and January is a notoriously difficult time to bring in players.

Of course in an ideal world we wouldn't be bringing him back. But we are basically limited to players without a club and loans. So our options are pretty restricted.

Given the above constraints we could certainly do worse than Hutch and he improves the squad given our other options in that position are a continually injured Luongo and Pelepessy.

Seems a pretty low risk move to me and I'm not sure why there is so much opposition to it.

Massive gamble. If he keeps fit/doesn’t get booked every week, he could be the difference to staying up. It will hopefully allow Bannan to get further up the pitch while he sits and gives us some steel. He’ll be a good leader for the younger lads to. Bye, bye, Pelupessy, you piece of doodahh. Hope he never plays again.
