Everton - V - Wednesday *FA CUP* omdt

Some positives tonight. Brennan and Urguhide have both done well. We’ve passed the ball well at times. Think our left hand side has improved since Penney and Brown have come on.

The most pleasing thing to see though is that we’re still committing men forward.

Ciaran Brennan should be proud of his performance tonight, one wobble when Richarlison got flagged offside in the first notwithstanding, he’s done very well

Good point.

Several decent performances on the pitch tonight.

Can’t fault the effort.

Is Penney not a left back? Brown came with good pedigree.

Kachunga and Marriott stank of being signings of desperation.

Good enough for this level? Given his game time this season I don’t think any manager we’ve had has faith in him. Fox went which means we needed a replacement. But instead we recruited for a wing back formation which was abandoned the moment Monk was sacked.

Brown also came with a terrible injury record.

Yes Kachunga and Marriott seem squad fillers because we couldn’t attract anyone better. Not surprising given we were starting on -12 points!

I thought he was the way JP keeps getting turned inside out in his own box

So, just to check.

Is the person who gives away a set piece the only culpable party when a goal is conceded from that set piece.

Do the players who let their man go on the resultant set piece  get a free pass?

Only I can only see one player being blamed for everything..
