We got over run in the away semi At Brighton, Lopez was anonymous. Hutchinson was pivotal in a much stronger second half, I think this made CCs mind up.

Nigel Jemson changed the game in 1991 coming on as a sub when we beat Man Utd.  He’s also on a free and will play for £20 quid a week and a copy of Razzle. Let’s  sign him too. Should link up well with Hutchinson.

The reason we lost that play off final was Steve Bruce

he set up two defensive midfielders and dropped his back four 25 yards behind them

we couldn’t play any football the gap from midfield to strikers was too big and it stopped us controlling the game and playing football

he tactically outclassed us

The calls for we didn’t turn up are just nonsense Gary hooper was blowing after that game and yet he had no influence on it because of how hull set up and stopped us playing

We lost to an hit hope effort, we could have won just as easily.  Hull were marginally better, way some talk it was one way traffic.

this is when figures can be played with ,he aint been here a full 7 years for 1 . and no2 he was banished by monk from beginning of feb till july ,and again by jos . he actually averages 30 games a season not the 20 what your saying . if you know someone better who can cover 2 positions centre mid and centre half where we are short and is 100% match fit ,comes free and wages not too high im all ears . dont get the hate . most of people i know who support weds love him as a no nonsense footballer .

We can not afford to carry injured player. You need consistency in a team. He is not player he was 3 years ago. If he signs will hardly play.

We’ve not missed him at all this season?

have you checked the league table

We have missed Fletcher. Central midfield has not beenworst area of team. The team lacks goals and creativity How man assists and goals does he get?

Kids make mistakes, Shaw has played so well and also made 3 mistakes in the last few games that really could have been punished.

What you don’t want, is they make a mistake that costs us (which kids do because they are learning and it’s unfair to expect that they won’t), in a relegation scenario, and get absolutely ripped to shreds by fans etc and can’t deal with it.

Older heads can deal better with this generally.
You don’t want a young talented player getting his confidence ripped away because it can ruin them.

So you chose not to count all his tackles, interceptions, completed passes, assist and goal, just the 3 unpunished mistakes. A nicely balanced argument?

But why is it Hutchinson OR Pickering? When has that ever been a thing?

Ones a left back and ones a DM/CB?

We’re going after Hutchinson because the recruitment team clearly think we need a DM?

The 'recruitment team' eh?? what could possibly go wrong............laughable....if it wasnt so sad

It’s not about being a saviour, it’s about being another player in the squad for a hectic schedule In a relegation battle.

Again if you’ve got a better name

or option out there, put it forward.

Stop repeating that, its silly, its not our job as fans to identify signings is it? people on here pay good money to support the Club and are entitled to enter an opinion without having to offer alternatives, how the flip do we know who is available?or who would come if they were?...It is however perfectly reasonable to offer up an opinion on a player who the fans know well....

We could all speculate on players couldnt we?  be pointless.....

I said and I quote ‘has played so well’, which is in reference to everything good he’s done?

To creat goals you’ve got to have possession and be strong out of possession

I think you really don’t understand the role hutch does

Spot on! The positions he takes up without thinking about it, He covers the entire defensive and gives the attacking players the confidence to to attack from a solid base.

How many times did you see an attacking player trying to get back and defend when he was playing?

Who better to help Liam Shaw progress.

We have a lot of games coming up and we need some strength in depth

Given Luongo is a constantly injured we have no back up as an experienced defensive midfielder

A short term deal to provide cover isn’t the worst piece of business we could have done

By bringing in and paying another constantly injured player? Why are people saying we are paupers, so this is a good deal? Making deals like this have made us paupers!

If you think I want Hutchinson back you should come back when you’re sober.
