Darren Moore heading towards favourite for Wednesday manager job

Recommended Posts

Would prefer cook or Pearson (never going to happen I know) but Darren Moore would be a very good choice. Much better than many of the other duds on the never ending betting odds list.

But as others have said I can't see us paying compensation to a club for their manager

I stuck a fiver on him last time out! As himself and all the 1st team coaching staff, missed their FA Cup game! Repeatedly at the time due to Covid, but I gambled on us poaching him!

Got 40/1too, hate Pullis! 🤣

Up and coming young manager, doing a very good job at his current club, would be an astute appointment.

On that basis, there's no way we'll be interested.

We don't do astute, we do crap

Can’t see us giving anyone like Moore the time they’d need to turn things around.

Comes across as decent bloke. In fact at times seems too nice to be a manager.

Like majority Cook clearly number one for me but of the names mentioned Moore would be second choice.

A picture of Darren and Chansiri side by side would stretch cameras ability to focus to its limits.

We have never signed a manager who is currently in work for years. I would be shocked if we appointed some one who had a job. This is no reflection on Moore.

It’s rare to get a universal thumbs up for a managerial suggestion,  so for that reason alone I’m in - Darren Moore to unite this fan base and lead us to glory!!

Why have Moore when you can have Cook?

Maybe Moore is more willing to be a coach than a manager? Or is cheaper? Probably both.

He should stay with Donny, and get another promotion on his CV He seems a decent bloke, but I don’t think the Wednesday job is right for either us, or him. Another time, then maybe
