When we got promoted in 2005 there was a song?

Watching back, look at his movement for their second goal.

Just watched it a few times but i don't see any obvious errors apart from the keeper beeing nowhere near the top height of the cross. 3 wednesday players went for the ball and lost. Keepers position was atrocious.

2005 and talk of Wednesday being a threat in the Championship, a PL club in all but name etc

16 years pass and still nothing, other than a relegation and repeat promotion.

Was a great day out though.  Being in the centre of Cardiff outweighs the tube excursion to a London suburb by a mile.

Agree it was a much better place to be than London.

We’re a long way off having a day like that again

3hr 16 mins in.

Always makes me chuckle.

David Blunket celebrating and on the big screen.

Then a hand comes in to shot pointing telling him to look at the big screen 😄

I remember at the time he got a big cheer when people saw this. I can’t imagine that happening for a Labour MP now.

As well as that Embrace track (who I saw at V later that same summer), it was also when the Hey Jude track took off as a Wednesday (and everyone else) song and Is This Way to Amarillo.

Happy days

I dunno, a League One play-off final does seem plausible for next season. Although true there might not be any fans there.

Started when it was played at half time at Brentford in the play off semi final second leg
