Marc Degryse
I cannot remember it but it was in the charts at the time. I'm sure it was part of the sky sports coverage can anyone remember it? It's been bugging me!

Reminds me of walking back from the match, switching Radio Sheffield on in car and listening to John Pearson celebrating a Wednesday goal over this music on the round-up of results. 2

Marc Degryse
Just watching it now. Lee Bullen talking about his (maybe) last day at the club - 6 mins in.
s6 owl
it was also played at the Amex when we beat Brighton in the play offs so its one of those nostalgic tunes that always bring back good memories.

Paolo Coopio
Great memories of a great day. Felt like was all for nothing when we went back down again a few years later. Though I suppose, if you look at that day in isolation a fantastic occasion to witness. Was on cloud nine for weeks.

Just watched it a few times but i don't see any obvious errors apart from the keeper beeing nowhere near the top height of the cross. 3 wednesday players went for the ball and lost. Keepers position was atrocious.
Paolo Coopio
3hr 16 mins in. Always makes me chuckle. David Blunket celebrating and on the big screen. Then a hand comes in to shot pointing telling him to look at the big screen
Manwë
2005 and talk of Wednesday being a threat in the Championship, a PL club in all but name etc 16 years pass and still nothing, other than a relegation and repeat promotion. Was a great day out though. Being in the centre of Cardiff outweighs the tube excursion to a London suburb by a mile.
JOCOWl
Glad you remembered just after opening the thread as I was struggling with the clue you gave us... There was a song in 2005, can anyone remember it....

We’re a long way off having a day like that again

As well as that Embrace track (who I saw at V later that same summer), it was also when the Hey Jude track took off as a Wednesday (and everyone else) song and Is This Way to Amarillo. Happy days
