This.

This afternoon he's got to mow the lawn, starch the kits, clean the boots, order some paperclips, refill the printer cartridges, get food for the canteen, sign a £5m player, sell a £1m player and also apply for a tax rebate in-between updating the website and changing a wheel on one of the coaches.

It's how all top businesses are run these days.  Give him a break.

It's more like he hires someone to order some paperclips, but then they don't actually have the authority to order paperclips, so they have to wait until he is in the country and can come and stand over them and make sure they are ordering the paperclips to his liking (and they are the ones he has had specially made that say Chansiri on them) before he will give the paperclip ordering signoff.   Except they also have to wait until he has finished following the groundsman around to make sure he is mowing the lawn correctly (using his special Chansiri-branded lawnmower).

Does anyone actually know whether there is a lease on the ground.

Sheffield 3, in which DC is the sole Director, owns the ground, but has a debt charge to New Avenue Projects Ltd, in which he is obliged to the first loan payment of £6,438,205 on 30th September 2021.

Surely a loss is a loss though and wouldn't give you any reason to just hold back and not publish for everyone to see?

Has it no  FFP implications as before Covid ?

Indpendent Panel said yes, lease for 30 years at £3 million annually (more than Hammers pay for Olympic Stadium).

New Avenue are the vulture fund that helped crash Watford, pre -Pozzo.

Guessing big losses so no tax - Inland Revenue probbaly got better thangs to do (massive investigation into top players fiddling tax).

Surely if everything  was 'in order ' the accounts ...all of them ...would have been submitted on time each year .

To mess things up once  is bad ...to keep doing it ...yet again ...smacks of incompetence ...for which the club and the fans will be the ones who suffer , yet again.

How and where does the stadium sale factor into this? Isn't that to be included in 18/19 after being incorrectly placed in year before?

Don't start applying stuff like common sense on here. It's not generally well received mate.

This year's accounts for all companies was extended to 5th April 2021.

Err no they weren't

Extended by 3 months from the original filing date.

So 31st July 19 ordinarily to be filed by 30th April 20 - regulations permitted them to be filed upto 31st July 20.

Basically 6 months late

This question of which year the stadium sale goes in. The EFL are not the regulatory authority when it comes to filing accounts. So even if they have judged it to be incorrect that is solely for their purposes.

The actual arbiter is the Financial Reporting Council

Any idea what has happened to the year before we still haven't submitted either?

I can see why S3 (DC) would want a lease from the club to fund the charge, which £6.5m is due this September, but it would need declaring @ Land Registry - any lease over 7 years needs filing. I'll be honest, I've not looked but not heard anything official.
