It can work but head coach has to be aligned with the type of players at club

And therein lies one of the biggest issues that any coach here would face.

And a problem the owner and his chums now find themselves in. Have given themselves.

What coach is there aligned to the type of players we have?

Because the entire squad have been signed wily-nilly.

They can't say "We've built a side of quick,  sharp possession based footballers, we need that sort of coach"

They can't say "We've built a side based on physicality and brute power , we need that sort of coach"

The scattergun approach to our transfer business means there is no one system, that suits this squad.

There is no right formation.

Whatever tactical work and tinkering all the managers do 5-4-1 ,  4-4-2,  4-3-3 ,  route one or tap it about at the back ...none of them suits this squad as a whole

Whatever they do there's always gaping areas of weakness in whatever way we set up.

Theres been about as much joined up thinking and genuine football foresight gone into our transfer dealings as there would have been if we'd  Blind folded a random punter off the KOP and let them stick a pin in a Rothmans player index to select our next transfer target.

In fact , we might have been better off, as we might have got some younger players with that random selection process, rather than 30+ year olds being pushed by their agents trying to get one last milking out of them before retirement...

So basically it's everyone in football, and all the journalists, and all the ex-players who are ALL screaming that something is wrong - they're the ones that are wrong about everything

Meanwhile we have the current owner who's got us into a 12 point deduction, sold the stadium, buys dubious players repeatedly and often and calls the fans bad customers - he's the one who's right?

Got ya

Probably with more to come when the latest set of accounts are released and Charlie Chump is installed as head coach 😂 tbf the accounts could be vital to the stability of SWFC and it’s future !!! Worried you bet I am

This is spot on.

We have been recruiting from a small pond if you look most of players and staff who have been brought into club have come from a few clubs. Watford, Burnley, Middlesboro. Charlton and latest Cardiff. If you notice we are linked with players from certain clubs over and over again.

Brexit has not made it easy to bring some as much rubbish from abroad some can not appoint some of foreign junk who were lined up to manage us.

What a load of old tosh. Any businessman who is making huge decisions based on what fans are saying online and spending millions of millions of pounds on those opinions really isn’t a very good businessman.

I sincerely hope when it comes to recruitment the club isn’t acting on emotion.

Not convinced he was going to walk. I think that’s a convenient narrative that the Bruce camp was peddling shortly after he screwed us over. Similarly Chansiris dig at Bruce in the last press interview was convenient “oh I didn’t want him anyway”.

I have no evidence of this, it’s just a hunch, but I think Bruce was potentially the one Chansiri actually allowed do his own thing. Biggs at the time suggested a change in thinking and strategy from Chansiri. Bruce was allowed to bring in his own staff, including those that are still at the club today. But Bruce did what Bruce does - scuttled off for a better offer.

That’s not me saying Chansiri doesn’t meddle though - clearly there’s people saying he does.

And its a load of tosh, that you think a football club owner wouldn't try to give the clubs fan base what they're asking for.

In hindsight, we're only annoyed but football isn't a game where everything is sunshine and rainbows
