Wednesday haven't had much luck recently with resurrecting the careers of once promising players who got an injury and never made it back, but sometimes these players do come good again, and if Green does, he'll be an assett

Agreed, although Dunkley also seems to be an asset now.

Chansiri making these signings absolutely scandalous! Hasn't got a clue said someone else!

Maybe it has been the managers making the previous signings

Yeah we had a good habit of reviving players careers at one time, albeit players that were out of favour with their manager at the time, like Lee Chapman, John Sheridan and a couple of others. Although we did still have a go back then of also trying to turn bin men into strikers and then back into bin men again!

Fanstatic free signing in a position we are desperate in adds a lot to this squad

you don’t need a manager to sign players like this on a free especially in our situation

well done Wednesday

welcome Andre

Yes a low risk gamble and in a position we are lacking quality in if he can do a good job on the right wing and maybe weigh in with the odd goal.

We've still managed a few like that. Lees cost us 50k and Leeds couldn't give him away!

My only concern is the amount of football he has missed.

How long will it take him to get match fit?

Good age and a turn of pace which is definitely something lacking from the squad.

Hopefully he can have a good run out in the cup.....

If you listen to DC he said we had made offers to players before Pulis was sacked and this guy was one of them. Therefore a TP selection from out of contract market.

I presume we cold have withdrawn offer but stuck with it.

Hopefully does well.

I thought we were reported to have been interested in him during the last transfer window so that may have some bearing on it ?

Agreed.

When he said we had made offers to players not many decent names out of contract. Immediate thoughts went to him as one out of contract player we were linked with. The other I thought of was that chap Musa.

Isn't he also a left winger ?

Type of player should be signing, young point to prove eager to play if he does well might be worth something at some point he’s always mates with my gf’s brother

Right footed but played on left when I have seen him. We need somebody on right so a bit odd.

"The trouble with "lessons from history" is that we usually read them best after falling flat on our chins."

"Girls are simply wonderful. Just to stand on a corner and watch them go past is delightful. They don't walk. At least not what we do when we walk. I don't know how to describe it, but it's much more complex and utterly delightful. They don't move just their feet; everything moves and in different directions . . . and all of it graceful."  Starship Troopers, Amen!
