No chance.

Far too good for us atm.

This..............

There's going to be a string of more attractive offers.

Hope I have to eat my words but pipe dream for me.

Just what we need more competition in midfield. Anyway he wouldn't come here when we were a good draw and even had a hat to throw in the ring. Other more pressing priorities first.

That’s the thing, if money is a major issue, we need to focus all our resources on the attack. Sure I would like him here, but we have other priorities

If we were where we seemed to be back in 2015/2016 or 2016/2017, then I imagine we'd have as good a chance as anyone of getting in someone of his quality.

Now, we have about as much appeal as the teams from the early 00s.

We are far more likely to go down than go up, we have clear financial issues and the squad is lacking in real quality.

A player like Hourihane will have clubs lining up to take him, some possibly in the Prem.

Not a chance he'll come but look at the midfield options if he does:

Reach Hutchinson Hourihane Bannan

Green Luongo Shaw Harris

I am glad you think Pelupessy is the new Hutchinson.

No, I meant that they both favour the same role centrally, using their left foot to dictate play from deep It’s a shame, but I don’t see us being able to incorporate the two, unless we abandon the idea of playing with wingers, and move Bannan to left, similar to the role he had under Carlos

Think Hourihane is better imo

Imagine a midfield three of Bannan, Luongo and Hourihane - with Liam Shaw as back-up...

Hopefully we at least throw our hat into the ring

Lightweight but technically decent

we need to pull-out all the stops for this to happen, at this level he is a class act, hopefully Dean Smith still has time for us and will smooth the way

come on Wednesday

Would think all championship clubs are a bit nervous of splashin the cash right now..

Except clubs with parachute payments of course...

About time this league was handicapped..

Parachute payment = start on -12 pts.

🤐 😊

Pigs, West Brom, Newcastle, Brighton, Fulham, Palace would all be better for having him in their midfield. No chance he's coming to the shite end of division two to play on our pitch with no one to pass to.
