Rotherham fear Paul Cook appointment

Recommended Posts

It has been reported on Twitter that Ronnie Moore, long-standing Rotherham cluib servant, has descibed Paul Cook as a "top, top draw manager."

Rotherham are fearful that SWFC appointing Cook could remove a fellow relegation-threatened club from the battle at the bottom of the Championship.

In his view it really is a test of whether DC can get the deal for Paul Cook to take over as SWFC manager over the line.

Over to DC to make it happen.

Sheffield Wednesday fans in large numbers have backed Paul Cook to be the next Manager of the club.

Many of them follow football closely and recognise Paul Cook's achievements of promotions at Chesterfield, Portsmouth and Wigan Athletic and like the fact that he is an attack-minded manager.

The Advisors to DC need to put the interests of Sheffield Wednesday first because they together with the owner took on a mid-table Championship club, spent over £100 million of his money and ended up with an inferior team in serious risk of relegation.

Cook certainly removed a club from this seasons relegation battle by relegating them last season.

If we'd been given the 12 point deduction last season as the EFL wanted, would you have viewed that as Monk relegating Wednesday, or might you have pointed the finger of blame elsewhere, perhaps?

Many posters on here ridiculed McMigo when he could not understand the stats that meant the Admin deduction relegated Wigan Athletic last season.

Withiout the EFL imposed points deduction Wigan Athletic would have finished mid-table in the Championship, some way above us.

I'm not as high on Cook as others but i'd certainly take him now. There's no one else available who ticks enough of the boxes you would want.

Also, Mcmigo pushing the "he got Wigan relegated" line is as clear an effort at trolling as you'll see on this site. Quite sad really.
