matthefish2002
Clubs should ask players to take a wage cut or probably more realistically to defer part of wages until a later date

Yes get impression vast majority of players are fine kneeling, wearing rainbow laces or having a minutes silence. But ask them to make real sacrifice and they dont want to bloody know. If Derby get a 12 point deduction, then that’ll be just 2 relegation spots left and I’d back us to finish above both Wycombe and Toy Town. I don’t think most of us will be gloating , but it would mean 12 points deduction and help us massively. Just really sad for Derby though, look like they are currently being managed as badly as we are. Last few years the two clubs seemed to have tried to out do each other in ******** it up. Who suffers...the fans. That said think this is just Mel trying to force the takeover through. Seems like Mel and Dephon are like “brothers from different mothers” when it comes to running a football club

I’d certainly not gloat about it and I’d rather we not be in such a rubbish position whereby another side could save us by going into administration (like Barnsley being kept up by Wigan last season) but we are where we are. Both gambles failed. Now both clubs don’t own the stadium and both are struggling to pay players on time. Derby’s saving grace is they’ve apparently got this takeover on the horizon. Perhaps DC might have to start thinking about new ways to get cash into the club ASAP? We couldn't pay our players as DC had to move more money to cover the cost - and paid them when he did. There is no indication he cant pay - just that he didnt have anything in place, so there was a blip . Derby are having to take a loan to pay their players and cant continue to do so for long once that is gone, its a world of difference to us as things stand.

It’s happened on more than one occasion. And the chairman said he won’t rule out it happening again.
