On #dcfc ‘takeover’: players still been not paid and understand Derby have sought another loan from MSD. Money in bank now very low and a genuine threat of administration if this is not sorted ASAP

Very true, I see on their boards, they have a thread discussing who is the worst owners.

Agreed, but there’s a very realistic chance that it won’t be 22nd-24th who get relegated this year. Must be a chance of administrations and points deductions. Rather it be Derby than us.

Yeah but clubs will be relegated on who went into admin first. It's on the new EFL website. wedontknowwhatthefuçkishappening.com

The only way if for owners to continue to pump in their own funds to keep clubs going.

Oh the irony....

The Derby situation is very similar to ours. Really went for it and pushed FFP to the limits.

Both gambles failed. Now both clubs don’t own the stadium and both are struggling to pay players on time.

Derby’s saving grace is they’ve apparently got this takeover on the horizon. Perhaps DC might have to start thinking about new ways to get cash into the club ASAP?

Oh the irony....

Mel Morris like DC and putting no more money in after selling the stadium to himself?

Hopefully for once we won't follow their lead
