Popular Post King_Monkey 371
Got told 72 hrs ago that Nigel Pearson would be happy to listen (important word) to DC and his advisers to see what they have to offer and say with regards to the position available at SWFC. he’s just admitted on BT Sport that he is ready to manage again, the club and its position isn’t important providing that the opportunity was right at this or the time it was offered. to me, that’s a message that’s he sat waiting for a phone call. 18 5 2
theowlsman 40,465
Just seen that interview with Rio Ferdinand. Looks keen doesn’t he?
theowlsman 40,465
Would bring in a few decent loanees too. He has connections. Would prefer him over Cook if I am honest. But the relationship with Chansiri though after falling out with the other Thais at Leicester? 5
BIG D 21,627
Coming from the OP I’m going to believe this. Yeah, would prefer Pearson to Cook and he would definitely have the fans behind him. 5

LondonOwl313 2,138
I prefer Pearson’s pedigree and he’s a good manager, but struggling to see how it wouldn’t end the same way as Bruce or Pulis for DC. Cook I think would be just more than happy to manage a big club so would be more likely to stay the course when the backroom issues become challenging 1

Dronfield Blue 11,818
Pearson would not be a problem as long as Mr C stayed in Thailand. 1 1

WalthamOwl 18,906
I really like Pearson however him and Chansiri working together would be a disaster.
peterbottom14 122
Pearson will have opportunities in higher leagues and wouldn’t manage here as said previously . can’t see him dropping down to a relegation dogfight when he could easily walk into a Premier League job in a few months time. graz gp 158
Pearson would fall out with Chansiri in a week. uto 1

CircleSeven 1,856
I would be very happy with Pearson. Very happy indeed, but, he’s a manager isn’t he? Not a coach by any means. If he was brought on board and given the actual authority to manage us I think we’d genuinely be able to spend two years rebuilding and then start to push again for glory! 1
Ellis Rimmer 6,302
I don't think Chansiri would be keen based on what happened at Leicester with Pearson's son. Personally think Pearson is looking for a last pay-day. Avoid. 4 1
