Pub Footballer OR Goal Machine ??

Recommended Posts

Not the prettiest, nor the best technique but a grafter and a valuable player for us!

Play him just behind a target man striker and he’ll get 10+ goals with ease. Could become a cult hero!

p.s. awesome goal celebrations!

Technically he’s an awful footballer, but Christ he’s a trier, and does have a knack of being in the right place in the 6yd box.

His actually centre forward play today against McArdle was absolutely dire. He’s a makeshift forward but until we have better he’s all we’ve got.

This is a player we're talking about that's banging goals in for fun

He gives everything for us

And yet some fans think their opinions override goals that he's scoring and are more valid than a player doing amazing in the worst of times for our club

Staggering egos at play here

Give this guy another 10 games and I think we may put him on a par with Kenwyne Jones.

The touch of a Rhinoceros . The heart of a Lion . Makes Joey look like a real footballer BUT he scores goals .

Perhaps Wednesdays worst signing in years OR their saviour .

His name is Paterson . Opinions please

Top scorer...speaks for itself....

I have just read all the posts and have seen only one negative opinion and all that said was he had a shocker today. Have you posted this in the right thread?

For what it’s worth my opinion is goals win games, he’s scored some unbelievably important goals and helped us massively in being on a hot streak I could literally only of dreamed of just a few weeks ago.

What’s not to like?

If he gets the service then I think he’ll score goals regularly. He seems to have the instincts of a poacher when he’s in the penalty area. If he scores around 10 goals or so then he’s done well

for someone who isn’t seen as a natural striker but he just might be?

There’s a video I posted the other day where he is scoring for fun and with his right peg, his left peg, his head, from inside the six yard box, outside the area, from 40 yards. The man knows how to score and that’s good enough for me.

**Disclaimer - the goals were scored in the Scottish leagues**

Made Rory Mcardle look like Paulo Maldini today

Hardly won a header and can’t hold the ball up,

We must look for better

We can’t afford better

Lower league defenders are far better in the air, they have to be.

McArdle is extremely good Ariel wise, which is why he is a menace from set pieces.

Today was a test, we passed it.   Not convincingly, but we passed it.

I don't see why we are on a negative today?
