Popular Post SallyCinnamon
Kieran has officially completed his move to Bolton. Thoroughly deserved and Bolton have signed a terrific player. What a servant he was. A player who just got better and better every season. That cruel injury maybe cost him the chance of playing in the Premier League - because on work ethic and ability that’s where he deserved to be playing. A consistent 7/10 performer or higher. Never dropped his standards and was a pleasure to watch at times. For a free transfer from Oldham, I think he’s probably the best bit of transfer business the club has done over the past 20 years. A Wednesday hero in my eyes. Only started following the club in the early 00s, so icons have been few and far between. But Lee is someone I’ll proudly tell my children about one day. I loved watching him play. And never forget he carried on fighting for the club last season when he knew full well that his contract wasn’t going to be renewed. Him and Nuhiu deserve all the plaudits for that alone. I know Kieran’s Dad often reads the forum. Kieran was a credit to Sheffield Wednesday and if he was to return to Hillsborough when fans are back in the ground - he’d get a huge standing ovation. His touch is golden! Thanks for the memories. 29 22
Guest
Great player Honest worker Injuries probably cost him a few seasons in the top league Best of luck Lee
BIG D
I can’t think of a player who would get a bigger show of respect from the fans at Hillsborough. As you say the fact that he carried on playing when most of the others didn’t speaks volumes for the lads character. I hope he has a few more seasons yet. Good luck lad.
NorfolkNChance
Transformed our midfield when he was in it from an attacking perspective.

Popular Post Lucas Joao's Tooth
The fact the club never came out and thanked Lee and Nuhiu's for their services was a disgrace. One of the best players in the last decade for us. Good luck Kieran Lee.

There should have been a club statement at the end of their contracts.
BANJO59
Sheer class as a player, my grandson was a mascot and he had his main picture with him because he said he always put a shift in and great passes
Bouncing Owl
Our best player since the premier league in my opinion and top lad too. All the best, Kieran Lee

Inspector Lestrade
A standing ovation is assured when he next plays at Hillsborough, by every woman, man and child. A real footballer

He's the only one for god know how long who was capable of linking midfield with attack, scoring a few on the way. We missed Lee more than anyone when he was injured, we still miss him now, short sighted imho not to have offered him another contract.
mcmigo
Brilliant, brilliant footballer. If he stays fit what a buy for Bolton.
DJMortimer
My favourite player, probably since we were last in the top flight (trust me kids, we were once). Not just a talented footballer, but intelligent with it and always applied himself with the right attitude, unlike so many others he shared a dressing room with. Good luck to him.

Quality player on his day, unfortunately his days were few and far between because of injury. He did very well financially out of SWFC and we enjoyed watching him but another contract was not warrented.

I have to agree always looking to go forward and not backwards, scored some great goals along the way too

But probably the most you can expect in the current climate. Surprised to hear on his interview with Bolton that he played over 30 games for us last season apparently? Surprised Monk didn’t keep him around considering that.

Guest
Not sure if there’s a player in recent times I liked anymore than Keiren Lee in his prime, unbelievable player who in all honesty if he can get anywhere near fit will still be absolutely phenomenal for Bolton
