It's definitely to be sniffed at, exactly like the post i made in the thread about Bruno Lage and his Benfica record.

He's got a 60% win record and look at the teams he's been in charge of.

PAOK - One of the biggest clubs in Greece
Maccabi Tel Aviv - again one of the biggest clubs in isreal
Watford - sacked after 22 games

He had 91 games at Maccabi Tel Aviv winning 61 drawing 22 losing 8.

Maccabi Tel Aviv sit 2nd in the eternal table of that league

Every club he's managed are expected to be in and around the top of the table within the top 4 for PAOK and within top 2 for Maccabi Tel Aviv and Watford this season should be right up there with the amount of depth and quality in that squad.

Again business within Watford circles.

Watford sacked Pearson too though randomly but he would be viewed differently.

To be honest with Ivic it’s difficult to judge but he wouldn’t be the talker in the media the club could do with.

Carvalhals cv looked more iffy than that of Ivic

The issues with football immigration have existed for donkeys, the only difference is that pre-Brexit, such rules didn't apply for EU nationals.  Now they equally apply.

It's why you never had Yeovil signing unheard of players from Argentina and Senegal.

Watford hire and fire all the time it's nothing new.

Point is you can't go on his stats when he's managed the top teams in poor divisions where the teams he's managed are always top 4

He is difficult to judge by no means i'm saying he's a bad or good manager but the stats presented are skewed, it's like going to Celtic or Rangers it's virtually impossible to leave with a poor record.

We can't afford to gamble on a unknown quality he's had 20 games at this level.
It's a high risk appointment at this stage of the season and it's another one that's been in Watford circles.

Sooner we cut these dodgy little advisors and boxing promoters off the better, unfortunately we know it's never going to happen.

Neil Lennon won Cups and titles in Scotland. Not sure many would want him for the Wednesday job.
