On contrary don't think he named chansiri specifically for a start and think DC may appreciate him being honest and straight forward with him compared to pulis' who (if you believe DC) was not exactly straight up with him from the start. Cook is being too nice about us in his media appearances not to be still after the job. Fair enough. DC will still probably avoid him because of this. My own personal feeling is that he will avoid a British manager because they already have relationships with the UK press and journalists. Employing a foreign coach or manager mitigates this. Can see your point but mate who listened live to that show seemed to think he was more positive re swfc than the context of the comments were taken post show. Gob_Bluth Posted January 25, 2021 Share Posted January 25, 2021 (edited) Cook isn't just talking himself out of the job here with his recent comments about not being able to manage, he's talking himself out of a job anywhere in one of the bigger championship clubs. he's never going to have full control at a decent sized club, it doesn't work like that anymore.
