I think if we’re going to be paying fees for players, they have to be younger. Both Hector and Kebano are 28

Pickering and Jephcott, (at Crewe and Plymouth) both in their early 20's, lower league players on the rise with resale value, would be smart signings and the type of signings we should be making

They would, but hierarchy at the club obviously don't think it is important to have talented young players at the club that could provide backbone for our first team for years to come, or earn us profit in the future.

Instead we are becoming "last chance saloon" for players that no other club in the league wants, with little quality and zero resale value.

Our strong interest in Pickering, and perhaps to a lesser extent, Cosgrove, suggests that hopefully things might be changing

Dunno about that, wish i was as optimistic.

Somehow I can imagine that we offered 250k for Cosgrove and left shocked when Aberdeen asked for over 2.5m.

We have unique talent on our hands and our lack of interest in tying him here on long term deal shows that we can't spot talent that was with us for over 10 years, how can we identify right targets from other clubs ?!

Stefan Johansen has joined QPR on loan from Fulham for the rest of the season.

The 30-year-old central midfielder will add a wealth of experience to Mark Warburton’s side, having made more than 300 professional appearances in a career that has spanned his native Norway, Scotland and England.

Top, top signing for this level.

We're crying out for a midfielder other than Bannan who can defend, actually trap a bag of sand and instigate attacks. And our main relegation rivals have just signed one.

QPR aren't leaving any stones unturned in this window, after losing Bright-Samual to Fenerbache.

Austin, Johanson and de Vijs are all experienced, solid Championship players who'll strengthen them, no ends.

What's one little nought between friends?

Maybe we should try suggesting Crewe that we could be their reserve team. I bet their academy has plenty of talent.

Great signing, certainly can't knock QPRs recruitment they've brought in some very good players. We on the other hand well...the less said the better.

Preparing for relegation I guess

As much as he’s the man who can do no wrong over there, you’d imagine keeping the chequebook closed is a condition of him keeping his job.

Like we’ve seen, new managers want cash to spend. Keeping Wilder is an easy get out for them having to do that.

Doubt it. On more money, has a promotion on his CV and played a few games in the Premier League.

...and who wants to be part of this shambles of a club at the moment!

Agreed...to think Hector is regretting not joining us is ridiculous.
