Completely out of favour at Stoke. Think they’ll just want to get him off the books really.

Wouldn’t he have to agree to sacrifice the remainder of his contract? I’m not sure how these works but surely if he’s contracted to that money he’s entitled to it, and I don’t think we could match it.

I don't know his contract situation. My pal is solid though. I'd say its happening. A decent addition if not earth shattering.

Very decent. I’d like to see him here.

didn’t he do really well for millwall in L1?

I’ve been saying for months that Gregory would be ideal for this league. Only sticking point is he’s a huge blade.

As long as he's a huge Blade in the figurative sense then that's ok.

Don't need one of those fatties wobbling down Fargate in their XXL Dem Blades top.

Surely he would rather drive to hillsborough every day that flipping Stoke!

Wait until his first goal ripples the back of the net. He'll have such a weird felling in him. He'll be blue and white.

Personally if we could add Gregory, Sims and Johnson would be very happy with the business this summer.

Sims looking less likely given Moore's comments about players waiting for other options

When did Moore say this?

You would have expected Sims to be sorted now. Shame as thought he would have been a great addition.

Gregory could be a very shrewd signing if he's available on a free.

He's held his own in the Championship, and had an impressive record in League One a few seasons ago.

The younger signings are exciting, but we need a bit of experience and know-how, and Gregory could provide plenty of that.

Spoke to Paul Smith physio when he was going to London to meet Antony gardener to see the specialist about his injury ( which unfortunately finished his career) we was linked with billy sharpe on loan from reading at the time . I asked him if it was true and he said he’d been up for talks and only stick point was how much of his wages we would cover? He said modern footballers nothing like the older ones and would go where the money is said he’d go to Utd if they offered him more but would wear his Wednesday top underneath their tracksuit!!! So we’ll see I guess

Gregory isn’t the signing i imagined for the number 9 shirt but if he is someone that will bully defenders and win headers etc I guess it’s what we need. Would have preferred a goal scorer but maybe that will come from other positions. Also wish he wasn’t a massive blade!

Gregory will flourish around pace and supply, That's now what we have. Scored for fun last time he was in league one.

Billy sharp the massive blade would wear his Wednesday tracksuit under his shirt? Or have I completely missed the point of this post? If so, I do apologise

Think the poster was saying Paul Smith would wear his Wednesday shirt under his tracksuit if he move to Utd?

Thanks mate. I thought I was misreading it somehow but couldn’t work out how.
