The defender is not training with the League One side anymore, as per a report by The News. Odimayo, who is 21-years-old, is a free agent with his contract at Swindon Town expiring at the end of June. He has been linked with Sheffield Wednesday, Derby County and Stoke City over recent times, as per a report by TEAMtalk, and the door has swung open for other clubs to swoop in for him now. And then obviously the Bannan rumours. Thats four players leaving which would be catastrophic considering we’re paper thin as a squad already. We need to double the amount of players we intended to sign. I imagine players have gone elsewhere. We’re not spending which is frustrating. room0035 Posted July 21, 2021 Share Posted July 21, 2021 EFL are restricting Derby County to free agents loans within a specific wage bracket and they cannot sign player to deals longer than one year. I wonder if we are under the same restrictions, but at league one salary level. We seem to be labelled when ever derby county are mentioned re the EFL yet we get the more severe punishment and Derby get a slap on the wrist, anyone would think one of Derby Countys board worked for the EFL.
