Don’t understand why people find it hard to comprehend a player would choose Blackpool over us

Who’s the championship club ..??

Starting to really worry about transfers for next season already after missing out on Tanser and James. Can see a massive shitstorm right before the start of the season picking up players who are scrambling for ANY contract in desperation. Thats if we make it that far.

If we were in a NORMAL situation most players would chose Wednesday over Blackpool as even in league below we should be able to offer better conditions, higher wages, more media attention, etc...

But while in our current situation people are choosing to join not only Championship bound Blackpool, but bloody St Mirren over us as well and who can blame them ?!

I suppose we now know that we are copying Bolton's model in falling from grace.

Scott Twine signs for MK Dons for tribunal fee.

Josh Sheehan from Newport to Bolton for free.

Jack Whatmough from Portsmouth to Wigan.

Some really good deals in our league early on, hope we won't wait on our first signing until all good players get picked up.

Most teams in league one are bringing in free agent signing. We will wait till the last minute to get the crap no one else want.

Oh and the crap that has not had a pre-season so will spend most of the time on the injury table.

We have made the same mistake for 6 summer transfer windows under DC, and continue to make the same mistakes everything left to the last minute.

think most clubs will go down the free transfer / loans route this year due to lack on income

We cant compete at the moment under any capacity it seems... what a shambles

No change to the transfer strategy of the last few seasons then?!

There is some very good league one, lower championship free agents currently but these will get snapped up. 2 decent left backs in James and Tanner gone elsewhere, we have no left back and need one it would have been on a few grand a week or about 10% of Bannan salary.

we need to be signing players up now not waiting till the last week of August.

Can you imagine getting a group of players together for the start of the season, giving them the whole of preseason to get used to playing DM, match fit and ready to go.

Would cost the same to get 6 or 7 players in what we are reportedly paying Bannan. I pray we get an offer for him because £27,000 a week is expensive for the championship in league one, it's just stupid forward planning, I hope there is a relegation salary reduction clause.

they need to sell Bannan if we are going down this route, cant have one or two players nearly earning the same as the rest of the team combined.

I certainly wouldnt be happy whatever job i was in if that was the case.

What a side they brought together to play exciting passing football. They have youth and talent in players like Twine, Kasumu  and O'Riley, experience and quality in Fraser, McEachren and Surman. By far the best midfield in the league, they played terrific football last year and will be even better next season.

I don't think we can sell him though ,may have to give him away. He has good close control but no football intelligence.

The net result is he is pleasing on the eye but the team suffers. If BB comes back it is because  the  rest of the team is not good enough but if Rhodes comes back as the only supply is fight/long balls then Rhodes is useless.

I have stated for many seasons professional scouts will be reluctant to recommend BB as there is little end product. I(f we get any sort of fee then we should be delighted.
