Really love us to bring in Kwadho Baah at Rochdale looks the real deal only 17 and big potential and Luke Matthieson loan. Be two potential great deals.

We should make more of the lower leagues as PNE have done, to make a solid foundation on a budget. The likes of Hanlan at Bristol R, Abrahams at Newport have shown some promise. The latter seems to have tailed off.

Like Abraham at Newport looks to have a lot of potential.  Definitely need to explore lower leagues more.

If DC does not get a move on with some strikers we will be able to check the lower leagues out first hand WTF:

I’m hoping we have a proper plan in place, to revamp our forward line. Just adding random options won’t suffice. Sure we could strike lucky by bringing in a Tammy Abraham type, who can do a similar job to the one he did at Villa and Swansea. Someone able to lead the line on his own, yet capable of 20 goals a season. That though, is extremely unlikely. We could look for a pairing that will give us the right combination up front. Two players with different attributes, that can gel together to make an effective strike force. Looking at what we have already, I don’t see any of our existing strikers being one half of an effective partnership. That’s not to say they that they couldn’t be used as options from the bench though. What we don’t want to have at the end of the window, is say, five players who are similar to Paterson and Windass, players who can do a job, but none who can make an effective pairing

I've told ya, until this is resolved this thread might as well be shelved. We'll be signing no one.

Ben Whiteman signed for Preston.

Fantastic bit of business for them. Good player.

Paul Cooke wanted him for Wigan last season,VERY good player, had to sell Windass to raise the cash thats how he ended up here.

Theres interest in Ben Pearson from a few clubs so he could be outgoing.

Two quality young players like him and Green would provided excellent foundation to build for next season and beyond while keeping most of our funds to sign striker and left back.

I see Callum Slattery has joined Gillingham for the rest of the season
