I did the same search you didn't post the threads that were critical of him=cherry picking

I never said nobody had been critical. I simply pointed out that it was incorrect to say nobody wanted him and provided a fair few examples to support that, mate.

Not entirely accurate.

As I said, I didn't expect anyone to identify him as being a top keeper based on his first dozen professional appearances at Championship level but to label him a terrible on that basis and write him off at that point is somewhat short sighted.

I'm getting checked for Alzheimer's.    I posted on at least one of those threads.

Always liked him.. was surprised that he stayed at Arsenal so long but when we had him on loan would have been happy to get him permanently. He has a good frame for a goalkeeper and does something that others tend not to in the modern game and that’s catch the ball. Looks very assured.

Damián Emiliano Martínez Romero.     As per Spanish custom, Martinez is his dads surname and Romero is his mam's surname.

I only remember him in a home game v Bournemouth.  About 2014-15.  We lost 2-1 and I think Lewis Grabban scored both, fresh out of Rotherham an all.

One was a tame 30 yarder that he let slip through.   Never thought he'd make the grade.   Mind you I saw Ray Clemence let 7 in for Scunthorpe the first time I saw him and thought he was rubbish.   Hope for Dawson yet then.
