He does what he has to do.

Never going to be spectacular.

He is what he is and is dependable - probably never MOM contrary to what you say but so what?   He is Mr Dependable.

Palmer has been underrated for years.

Fast becoming a Lewis Buxton type 7/10 every week.

Felt Odubajo had a very good game as well. Both fullbacks looked composed and, never dove in, stood up, blocked crosses, got their body between the ball and the man. Basic stuff which we’ve not done for a while!

Outstanding tonight, every player put in a shift, despite their limitations Thing with Palmer, he’s always looking to create With some more movement ahead of him, we could utilise it better

I agree, though they all put a real shift in.  I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking we would be stuffed today when I saw the line up.

Derby are awful

That second half showed how awful they are

Have all the ball you want  but never looked like scoring bar the first 20 minutes

Sky will be guttered they can't suck Rooneys ar53 tonight hahaha

He has played well at LB on a few occasions. Much better there than Van Aken.

He looks very solid, as did Obubajo at RB

I think its his best position.

The reason is because he is a converted CM.

So LB opens up the infield passes on his right foot, rather than on the right where he runs down the line and looks to cross.

Plays to his strengths.
