Popular Post areNOTwhatTHEYseem 46,541
Shameful comments from the man in charge of our club. He milks us for all he can; spaffs it all up the wall; tells us our money covers nothing anyway; then has the temerity to come out with that? Disgusting. 40 2

Popular Post crookesowl 3,251
His problem, that he doesn’t understand, is that football isn’t a community thing anymore at this level. If the players weren’t paid so much and if there wasn’t so much money in the game then I think many more people would have given up their refund for the clubs’ survival. However when players get £10k a week it’s hard not to ask for £100 back...
El Toro 343
So when we are spending money in the shop or in tickets are we fans or customers? I’m confused!!

The fans said in a previous meeting they would support me and help me. In the end, nobody helped me. If we spend money, the FFP issue, £13m a year is not enough." It's all our fault for not helping enough. 1

Popular Post poite 7,129
Ive said before that I'm a life long wednesday fan who lives in Leicester. About 3miles from King Power stadium. Whilst Chansiri owns this football club I'm finding it impossible to make the trip up to Sheffield to bring my five year old son up as an owl. Leicester are a lovely club with wonderful owners. I never imagined I'd ever even think about my son being anything other than an owl but Chansiri has changed that. Castleford Owl 2,325
He really doesn't respect the potential of our fanbase does he? If this club is run properly and we finally get our day in the sun again, the size of this club will be there for all to see.
Popular Post sheffield_dave 9,655
This is the worst thing he’s said in his time here, and there’s some stiff competition for that. It’s the embodiment of footballs view that being able to rely on “fans” and “supporters” cash indefinitely based on emotion, is fundamentally different to other businesses where customers won’t pay or will expect refunds for a service or product as shoddy as Sheffield Wednesday currently is. If that’s the distinction he wants to make then so be it. I’ll de-classify myself as a fan in favour of being one of his customers, and will thus be voting with my wallet like I do everywhere else. Not a penny from me, pal. 15
Popular Post York_Owl 1,891
Blaming the fans again. We are one of the most loyal fan bases in the country. There are not many clubs in the country that would get the attendances that we have been getting over the last 20 years given the way the club was being run and some of the appalling teams on show. But we still turn out in our numbers.

Blatter 3,019
Comes over as a privileged rich kid with no grasp of football economics or the remotest empathy for the lives of his ‘customers’ in a largely working class city during a pandemic. 4
York_Owl 1,891
3 minutes ago, Blatter said: Comes over as a privileged rich kid with no grasp of football economics or the remotest empathy for the lives of his ‘customers’ in a largely working class city during a pandemic. What he said. Sheffield is essentially a working class city and to expect supporters to spend a large proportion of their hard earned income supporting their team consisting of players being paid 20-30 thousand a week by the owner shows he is totally detached from reality and has no empathy with the city, the club and its supporters.
