THE CHANSIRI PRESS BRIEFING THREAD

Recommended Posts

Basically a press 'conference' to say what he's been saying for 3 years now.

The first two years was a positive one with fans being called family. Now we're 'worse than a customer' for having the audacity to expect a refund for ST for services/goods that never happen. He wants the fans - the fans to contribute towards the running of the club, after two years ago saying our money doesn't pay for anything - amazing.

The best we can hope for now is the current player play for pride for the next 4 months and we stay up. If we get a decent manager then fine, but who in their right would come after listening to the character assassination of TP and Monk.

The club under his ownership is in a depressing state, and no amount of fan-blame changes the fact that it's all DC's fault.

Think we should close the thread.

Delete it and ever afterwards never talk about it.

If anyone asks what DC said, just reply, 'sorry we don't know.'

If they have another source and quote him, look surprised and say ' Gosh, really?'

DC on Monk / accepting blame

Do I take the blame for what?

*Explained around issues*

What I don’t pay, it’s a little bit less, that’s no different to other clubs. It is a delay, that’s it.

When we were good, everybody was happy and went together. When not, everybody’s responsibility on me.

The fans can blame me or not, that is not the big issue. I am the owner of this club, I use a lot of money and I want to do good for the club for sure. In football we cannot control like a normal business anyway.

In normal business I can jump in and fix it. I cannot.

The fans can blame me, it’s no issue.

I cannot blame myself. In business we can do good or bad, it is normal in business. Especially this club, the ones who can lose money is me, not the fans who can buy a ticket for entertainment like buying a movie. The minority who say how bad I am. What are they doing for the club?

Are they going to help me? Maybe they don’t like me, that is fine. If I don’t like someone, I do not have to talk to that person.

\

Sometimes when we are good, they try to find something negativity.

All his usual waffling. All I want to know are you going to continue to fund the club or are you pulling out.

Thats all I need from you for now, not interested in any other of his inane drivel. Basically is the club going bust or can we continue ???

You know that big hold up man EVERYONES been clamouring to get?

We’ll probably go for him.

He’s just sacked a man notorious for playing with a big man upfront for not fitting his ‘philosophy’.

You tell me who he’s listening too. Because by the sounds we could just as easily end up with 2 right backs and another centre back through the door on next week.

If DC hires someone who’s done no due diligence on our squad again that’s his fault.

You can’t just buy any striker because you need one. Absolute madness

Rhodes and Winnall spring to mind, especially when what we needed was a central midfielder like Hourihane, he doesn't learn from his mistakes.

In DC we trust. Hes painting a picture no one can argue with.

This is Owlstalk. Someone will always argue about any subject. If you say it's day time someone will say you are wrong.

Long may it continue.lol

DC on blame cont.

Asking for who is to blame is too general. I feel sorry for myself because of the money I have lost.

I am not saying if I am a good owner or a bad owner. I am loyal to the fans, to say the truth. They don’t want to hear what I say.

They like people to impress them, to say what they want to hear, they like it. When I say the truth, they say I lie or that I want a ‘yes man’. They have short memories.

I am not going to say I am a good owner. I am one human being and I am loyal. I say the truth.

I am the owner of the club, anything good or bad I take responsibility.

Rule number one when entering into football investment - accept from the outset that there is a high probability that you will lose an awful lot of money. If making money is your aim, invest in something more secure!

I believe the only reason he called this press conf was to vent on TP - rest of it is nothing new.

I imagine he has been told about all the negative posting about the decision and wanted to set that record straight.

Its all gone ridiculously bad since about the 15th minute - a bit like when we play

DC on risk of spending in January

If you see from the Summer, in the Championship nobody spent much money. I do not expect in January it is more difficult to bring a player.

It is not easy. I never talk about spend or not spend. Sometimes transfer money is less than wages. Loan or free players, sometimes you pay more than a transfer. There is no difference between those.

Sometimes the fans say ‘you don’t buy’, but sometimes loans and transfers are more expensive.

We have a list of the players we want to bring in. We already had offers out to players. This is normal. We’re going to make decisions on who we want to bring in.

I try to bring a new coach in as soon as possible, but if some players come, we still need to bring in before, maybe.

So we are like customers then, not fans, and rightly entitled to a refund?
