I agree we shouldn’t bankrupt the club and gamble on older players on big wages. But we need quality players to progress and it takes serious money at this level.. can’t do this on a shoestring and expect to get anywhere near challenging for promotion

Unfortunately better players cost more as you say ? As we’ve lost our big earners we’ve lost the goal threat one by one? Think we been unlucky as game time our big earners played? Be it injured or other things

Says when they open up grounds for fans he’s planning on having a Hillsborough Fight Night with him and Curtis Woodhouse topping the bill.

Excellent. Should raise 50 quid towards paying the wages.

What other key points is he saying Neil. I'm genuinely interested mate. I'm not on Instagram or whatever it is.

Not for me to say any of the meaty stuff mate but the rest and general message is just the usual

Wants to help

wants positive approach
Says he is a shareholder in clubs in Asia, a few businesses etc and that most of what’s being posted should be ignored as it’s not accurate

  • Thanks 1

Will be interesting to see if Chansiri can handle this fella chatting to fans and being customer facing like he is being or if it will freak the Chairman out

I was thinking the exact same thing earlier... Surely he will have found out by know that he's chatting to fan's. So if he stops replying all of a sudden...

The other thing that should change as well as the advisor at the club is the communication strategy

We need to be an inclusive community not just a Chairman and a load of in the dark customers

It might kill the partnership before it gets started. Just like DC and Tone.

Going against the grain here... I don't think spending money is the way forward.  We've tried that, a couple of times, and it normally ends up with us being massively in debt.

Sort out the infrastructure, the academy, the scouting, the staff.  Have a strategy on recruitment.

Maybe even pay the players.

We'll be fine.

Spending money wisely needs somebody at the club to actually know which players we need and sign them on sensible wages for a sensible fee. That person in the good old days when owners just coughed up the money, used to be the manager. He would have a budget, buy the players, sort out the wages and then have to get results, or he was out. Now there are too many rich foreign owners who know next to nothing about football but want to appear like the next messiah while just blowing lots of money on rubbish. Unfortunately our owner has just blown loads of money on players who have come and taken as much money as they could get and left the club. For some reason DC preferred sacking managers who got stuck with DC advisor's rubbish signings, to sacking the advisor. Hopefully his latest aid knows more than the last, but it could just be another leach coming in to suck as much blood out of the club as they can. Just get a proper old fashioned manager in DC and let him run the club and spend the club's budget on whatever he sees fit. At least then, if he needs sacking it will be for his own mistakes.

I hope I am wrong about you Erik, but you smell dodgy to me, please prove me wrong.
