Didn't he with two things in his last job last year.

Could Cook be a better choice then Fink. Maybe yeah.

But I ain't having in a million years that Cook's managerial career has been more of a success than Finks.

And they’re being touted that Cook is an up and coming manager, with Fink being over the hill.

Theyre both bloody 53.

To be fair he does look pretty cool.
It would make a nice change to have a cool looking manager again.

I always thought Carlos looked pretty cool in his nice expensive coat.
Not even Jos’s mum could possibly have though he looked cool.
Followed up by the walking Ham that is Bruce.
Monk didn’t dress bad but had a perma-scowl that no one could like.
Then Pulis. Track suited and becapped. Very bad look.
Paul Cook also seems to favour touch-line sportswear which is never good on a bloke in his 50s.

So on coolness alone Fink is probably the answer.

The Japanese version of the FA Cup and then the Japanese Charity Shield (a one-off match) the next season. So one cup really as I don't think the Charity Shield really counts as a proper trophy.

Thanks for clarifying - would tend to agree that Charity Shield equivalent doesn’t really count if we’re looking at managerial achievements.

This is my thinking, people bang on about cook but he has been managing in the lower leagues for years, it's not like he is new to this game and to be linked to him is very underwhelming.

Monk had a 13 year old boy's hairstyle. He was not cool. CC definitely the coolest we had.

I think any trophy in Japan doesn’t make him qualified for a relegation battle with no transfer kitty in South Yorkshire.

It’s quite a narrow field looking for a manager who’s experienced a relegation battle with no transfer kitty in South Yorkshire.  Alan Irvine?  No wait he signed some players. Terry Yorath it is then

Thanks, I said I wouldn't post again haha, but if that's the only information on it ect. I would take it/Fink at face value.

I wouldn't touch him as German press pretty empatic about racism.

Toxic.

By that logic Mourinho and Guardiola wouldn’t be qualified enough for the mighty South Yorkshire relegation battle

So emphatic he literally then got employed by a German club in Hamburg after the alleged incident at Basel?

So did Ched.

Trump and Boris got elected. Both ardent racists.

Had more clubs than a pack of cards.

He’s had 8 and Cooks had 6. That’s not really that much for a manager?

For some comparisons (including second stints)

Carvalhal - 19

Monk - 5 (he’s 41)

Bruce - 11

Pulis - 11

Wilder has even had 5.

This is a little silly.

'Get the monkey down from the tree, ' sounds a bit sillier though  not, apparently, to Fink.

Imagine him while our players take knee with African players in Owls squad and an Asian owner looking on.

Apart from this stench, his CV makes Jos look like Jose.
