Good attacking manager, ex Wednesday. Give him a shot I say Lowe has had quite a bit of stick at Plymouth this season for his rigid 3-5-2 and tactical inflexibility. I don’t think he’s the man to sort it, but if he gets the job I’ll back him. Especially if he brings Luke Jephcott with him!

We collapsed in every respect as I pointed out throughout the last 10 games. less shots less possession less clean sheets less goals less chances less wins and crucially a lot less points per game than monk got this season with same players. we completely collapsed under Pulis.

How about the 2nd half of last season. Before he assembled the world beating squad we have now. It was dire and should have got him the sack. Mr Farrell
11 minutes ago, mcmigo said: Of course it was down to results. Monk was sacked after 12 points from 11 games. the draw vs Blackburn was the match that meant Pulis could not beat that record . Pulis failed horribly on the pitch . advice to next manager - get more than 12 points in your first 11 games Zero to do with results and more to do with Chancer unable to deliver promised January signings from what I hear. He also couldn't handle Pullis standing up to him.

This side is even worse than that of Stuart Gray, because at least he had Wickham. Three years ago we had 7 forwards at the club, and one out on loan; what do we have now? Tone's strategy was correct, and with a forward added to the team we'd probably have just about survived. He was the last available dinosaur, and with him gone we're done for. The progressives won't keep this team up, not a snowball's chance in hell, because it's not good enough to be in this division. You need quality players to win games with their philosophy. It's the hoofers, spoilers, and timewasters who beat the drop with a shower like ours. We're going down to the Third because that's where we deserve to be. Only Pulis could have cheated the hangman, but he's cleared his desk. His "strategy" was to jam as many centre backs onto the pitch in any position as possible and hope for the best. But we do know that as a consequence of hiring a well established football manager then sacking him after 10 games we are seen as a complete basket case throughout the football world. Thanks again DC.

No he addressed the problem by telling the owner what needed doing , who then sacked him for it. I'll leave you to your celebrations.

SwintonLad99
21 games since we last scored 2+goals in a match. That is terrible I think goal difference might be a factor in us being relegated
