Next manager odds

It is normal in most businesses to have more than one channel open to finding the answer, no matter what the question is.  All of the searchers need the exact same briefing so that the results from these sources are judged by the same criteria.

If one party had proposes PC for the shortlist, it would be the Owner's responsibility to interview (remotely of course) and select the candidate most suitable for the job, or keep looking through other channels if none are suitable.

Paco still hanging around the betting odds. Have a feeling he could well be a Paxo choice. Wouldn’t surprise me if he is offered it.

If you mean Paco Jemez the ex Rayo Vallecano coach then he's got links to Alonso.

Darren Moore the big mover today. In to 8/1 on sky bet.

He’s moved in before only to drift out again. That said this is the shortest price he’s been so far in this market. He’s currently employed so probably a very unlikely appointment but a decent manager to be fair.

I've got a lot of time for Darren Moore, think he's a good bloke and a decent manager building his management career.

But, he's in work so that's as far as the story goes with us. We always shop in the out of work and desperate department.

Can't see chansiri paying compensation for any new manager, but may have interviewed under Rooney rule, which would explain the move.

Might have a clause in his contract that he can go if a Championship club or Prem come him for him.

Worst move ever was not bringing in Howard Wilkinson. Would have kept the club, and in turn DC safe. Knows the game, the sharks etc. What a mess.

That's the part of what Carlton Palmer says that I agree with. If Wilkinson would take a director of football role, he'd sort out the mess.

It’s absolutely crazy to have two separate advisers doing different recruitment drives. Where is the joined up thinking? Why are we not working together to appoint the right man FOR Sheffield Wednesday?

Yet Chansiri has created this circus.

Chansiri really ought to do himself a favour, ditch all these shady advisors and appoint a DOF to look after all football matters.  Someone experienced in British football to work with the new manager/coach. Mr Chansiri should then take a back seat and leave the running of the club to people who know how to do it.

Maybe it’s the presence of said sharks that made him steer well clear!! Too much self respect to be seen working with certain people at the club
