Jose Morais - 3/5 - the smiling assassin, two league titles with Jeonbuk and good pedigree as Mourinho's assistant. Worth a punt. 8/1 odds.

 

Fatih Tekke - 1/5 - lower-league Turkish journeyman. Not particularly a delight. 10/1 odds.

Yes Poyet has a history of falling out with people, sacked at Bordeaux for complaining about a player sale despite a 61% win record.  So if Chansiri does his homework he may not be an option.  Though I feel he would be alright.

 

We have to hope that Chansiri will do what he says and appoints the right man this time

Bet Victor have moved all front 3 out in price today slightly. Poyet now 5-4 with them.

 

It suggests nothing cut and dried at ths stage.

 

Interesting most popular bets are Ryan Lowe and Paul Cook. Which is obviously fans money.

 

Bookies must have heard something about Morais, Tekke, Fink and Poyet  The issues with each of ythem suggest would be disaster in each case.

 

Now we are out of EU the merits of each of these would hardly make them elite in profession and if rules applied could not see Tekke, Morais or Fink getting approved. Poyet may actually live in country but again if not others who live in country and are out of work have better credentials.

Other major issue is his best results when he works with Craig Shakespeare as assistant. When without him has been a disaster,

 

Shakespeare is currently first team coach at Villa which he took up this season. Villa is his boyhood club and you can not see him leaving them. Therefore think if on own his score would be 0/5.
