Chance for Windass that, missed some good opportunities in the last game as well. Hope it proves to be meaningless like the last game rather than a turning point like Joey's great chance missed at Norwich.

Don't understand how when we are playing 5 at the back, with wingbacks Penney doesn't get a game. Right footed sided RCB with a right footed RWB, left footed LCB in Van Aken, surely a left footed left back gives us much better balance and width.

Because he isn't good enough.

Because pulis likes to play centre backs across the back 4.

Historically that's what he does.

That's why Penney, isn't playing.

Penny just can't be good enough yet - 3 managers in a row have sidelined him.

Still only 22 so loads of time for development.

I like Windas. Busy player and makes things happen but isn’t what you would call an ‘instinctive finisher’ is he!

My current favourite player, by miles.

Grafts hard and always looking to make things happen.

The fwucking state of this thread!

A terrible year both on and off the pitch.

It’s Christmas, Boxing Day, we need to win and we’re being trolled by the owner of the website we’re all logged on to with the common purpose of supporting Sheffield Wednesday.

Pathetic!

Just ignore it and enjoy the Wednesday win mate

Neither player is a striker altho Windass is an attacking midfielder

Probably why he’s playing for us and not a better team, to be fair. If he can become a bit more clinical in front of goal then we’ll have a proper player on our hands

But Palmer is playing on the right hand side
