I hope you all had a a wonderful Christmas, well as much as we can have one in these circumstances. The whole Covid thing....did you still have people around? Were you allowed people around? Tier 3, Tier 4, can move, can't move, support bubbles, visiting bubbles , I have no idea where we stand with it all. No one does. Which is where I used it to my advantage. I just told everyone we here at the house were in a new Tier 5 and that no one was allowed here at all. Worked out a treat , no one questioned it as most have stopped paying attention to the updates now as this thing rumbles on. Yes, there were no annoying relatives coming around and helping themselves to the booze and the grub. Just a solitary one for me this year and I have to say it was super! Ate like a King, boozed like it was the last night on Earth and today I will take to the chair and enjoy the football as Boxing day was always intended. I'll have one eye on Pride Park though, where I'm hoping sex pest Darnell Fisher and his boys can get a result against Shreks lot, who are now unbeaten in 6.. Nothing less than a win will do today. No pressure. Sad isn’t it that the usually-throbbing Boxing Day stadia will be empty and silenced. But let’s hope it turns to our advantage. Let’s hope Blackburn ate all the pies and drank all the Sherry. And let’s hope our win against Coventry has shaken some confidence into our fragile players. Westwood ain’t what he was, but boy does he make us look less frail and nervous! I really hope we see Rhodes start, in a front two with Windass if fit, or Paterson if not. Ten quid invested with ifollow. Really looking forwards to it. Christmas magic is still in the air! Don’t worry about form, the fact our players are garbage, the fact we can’t be there, the fact you ate so much yesterday every time you break wind you fear for your underpants! Im assuming we will be in away colours (is grey a colour, or an absence of colour?) so will slip amongst them unseen in the gloom of Elwood Park like footballing Ninjas! Scoring at will!
