Barry Bannan Presents: NOVEMBER 1974

Recommended Posts

I was at that game in the old South Stand uncovered seats.

McMordie was a 3 month loan in January and ended up leading scorer that season.

Hopefully we can find a McMordie for this season...this time we just need another 9 who can pass a football.

South Stand Uncovered

The second best place to sit in Hillsborough other than the West Stand upper

Just on twitter mate

Interesting because in the archive section and also everytime you see it on YouTube the 3rd goal is omitted (as is thee Streaker)!

McMordie came at the end of October and was gone by January (as was Tommy Craig). If we'd kept those two we'd have stood a chance of staying up.

Colin Harvey as well, if my memory is holding up.

We were utter tosh then, but I’d die for that midfield now.

Ha ha I remember that. Twikkers got Erica Roe and we got some old fat bloke, typical Wednesday couldn't even get a decent streaker.

Can only remember ever sitting there once, for the Man. City relegation match in 1970. My 2nd ever Wednesday match when a young un' and got soaked as it rained most of the match IIRC.

Aye

Definite downside of it being uncovered

lol
