No we didn't.  We finished 4th the season after, and only went out to Huddersfield after an unlucky own goal from Tom Lees and then a penalty shoot out.   

The wheels came off after the worst injury crisis I've known in 62 years of going to Hillsborough, and Carlos leaving for better things.

What's happened since has been wholly foreseeable.

But that's now history.  It's the future we need to worry about.

Unless Pulis uses his considerable nous in the January transfer market, and finds us a keeper and two blokes who can score goals, the prospect of swapping leagues with Lincoln city becomes very real.
