4evaowl 804
Problem is that most players come in late in the transfer window...another 5 games gone by then.
Jim 5,982
This group of games will give us an indication of how much better a manager Pulis is when compared to Monk. Granted everyone’s downhearted but we’ve competed well today against a team that will get promoted and took points in the previous 3 games from teams who will be in and around the Top 6. Huddersfield, Barnsley, Forest, Coventry, Blackburn, Boro These are the games where Pulis can start to pick up points IMO (or more needs to) Remember, our last four games have just been against teams who currently sit 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th in the league - Getting draws from these games was always the best we could hope for To win games you need to score goals. Morepork 14,760
That we've returned any points in the period since Pulis took over is a minor miracle IMO. That we find ourselves in this position has f@ck all to do with Pulis. Over the winter DC backed a manager who was already dead in the water and recruited from the bargain basement. DC's target for this season was promotion (HIS WORDS) that should tell you that the guy is an absolute f@ckwit. We have one remote chance left to save ourselves from relegation and that is the January window. If we sign players Pulis wants we may make some headway. Regardless of where we finish in this league, DC's tenure has been an aberration. A masterclass in bad business acumen an naivety. A toxic cocktail of foolishness, stupidity and vanity. In many respects League One is exactly where we deserve to be, if its where we find ourselves next season we can have no complaint.
